DESCRIPTIONS :
The Town Hall and Old Post Office building, located back to back, were constructed from 1914 t0 1916 in the Neo-Classical style and designed by A.B. Hubback. The Malay Nationalist Party, the first political party formed in Malaya, held its inaugural congress here from 30th November to 3rd December, 1945.
